Mask Acne Tips


Everyone skin reacts differently so choose what will suit you best. If you have questions I will try to answer🙋🏾‍♀️


*Clean masks daily


*If you are reusing a mask was in a detergent free from perfumes/dyes because that can cause irritation on the face.


*Hydration and washing your face constantly especially if you have oily skin


*Using a astringent toner to help keep skin ph balanced will reduce bacteria and irritation that causes acne


*Oral hygiene should be increased bath breath harbors germs which will linger on the skin causing irritation and acne


* Exfoliating twice a week to make sure your removing dead skin build up harboring germs and bacteria


*Use a vitamin c serum in the morning before you wear the mask. Vitamin C is an antioxidant which is awesome for skin health.


*Friction might be causing issues also making the area tender. Using a soothing/ protecting products like a topical antiseptic or antimicrobial (antibiotic) creams and hydrating moisturizers along the mask line (Vaseline is barrier cream it just doesn’t have any benefits besides protecting the skin just remember to wash face after using and type of creams)


*Acne spot treatment night benzyl peroxide or salicylic acid related (only use in target areanot all over your face)


*Drink lots of water
